Republican Candidate Wants Ammosexuals To Shoot Kids Crossing The Border (AUDIO)

The New Right Wing American flag.

The New Right Wing American flag.

In their rush to show America who hates immigrants the most, Republicans have passed from nauseating to flat-out irresponsible. Instead of just demanding every person with brown skin be instantly deported or pretending tens of thousands of refugee kids (most of them under the age of 11) are actually hardened criminals or that they’re covered in filthy diseases, right wing radio host and GOP hopeful Jody Hice has suggested that the best way to “secure” the border is exercise our Second Amendment rights:

In response to a question about the border crisis, Hice said, “that is the reason we have a Second Amendment.”

“Ultimately, it’s not about hunting and fishing and that type of thing,” he said. “It’s about our ability as individuals to defend ourselves, be it in our own private property, but most importantly, ultimately, it comes down to the right of defending ourselves against tyranny should our government ever become a threat to our liberties. And when you are talking about a government that refuses to secure our borders, you are talking about a government that is not taking seriously its responsibility to defend us.”

Despite Hice’s little sop to deniability by mentioning “private property”, he’s still openly advocating violence against immigrants that are supposedly swarming over the border. The reality, however, is that this so-called “invasion” is comprised of children coming to the border and turning themselves in to the first adult with a badge they can find. Calling that an invasion is like calling the survivors of the Titanic “pirates” as they were rescued by the Carpathia. Yet, here we have Hice talking about how his fellow ammosexuals need to defend themselves with their guns.

Again, from children.

What are they supposed to do? Stand at the border and scream “Go away or I’ll scream ‘Go away’ again!”? Of course not. The clear suggestion is that ammosexuals need to actually use their guns. In other words: shoot at children. Specifically, children fleeing violence and the highest murder rates in the western hemisphere. Because America is a Christian nation!

Did I mention that Jody Hice is a Southern Baptist Reverend? Yeah, a “man” of the cloth who claims to follow the words of Jesus Christ is so horrified at brown children coming to America, he wants us to shoot at them. I don’t personally believe in Jesus but I have to imagine that if he were here, he would be vomiting in absolute disgust.

It’s been clear for a long time that the most treasured fantasy of the ammosexual right is to shoot a brown person and get away with it. That a Republican running for office is advocating that very thing is a whole new level of disturbing and is a clear indication of why our government is broken; not because “both sides” have become “too extreme” but because the right wing has degenerated to the point that threatening violence against children is not just acceptable, it’s a political strategy.

As a believer, Hice’s statement is not only off-kilter in the human sense, it’s ANTI-CHRISTIAN, not merely un-Christian. The same sorts slobber all over the killers in the Ukraine and excuse their enormities. Go figure…

Pass the jug, the world’s being especially crank, today…

These right wing nut jobs are bereft of humanity, plain and simple. Kind of makes me wish the god they worship were real. Would love to see the look on their faces when he smote them!!!

Ok, a quote I just saw on Facebook, just won “Quote of the Year Award:”

“If you think fertilized eggs are people but refugee kids aren’t, then you’re going to have to stop pretending your concerns are religious.”

That quote is a show-stopper. I have a friend whose mother is really conservative, and really Christian, who is “Pro-life,” and “Anti-abortion” literally stop cold in her tracks, and recant her belief about these refugee children needing to be deported yesterday. The most amazing about-face I have ever seen a conservative make when presented with such overwhelming and incredibly simple logic.

I know we’re not allowed to bring up G.W. Bush
(can’t say I blame them), but why didn’t HE secure
    the boarder? Especially after 9/11?
    I mean, he went from:
“We’re going to get [bin Laden] Dead or alive, it doesn’t matter to me”
    to:
“I wouldn’t necessarily say he’s at the center of any command structure. And, again, I don’t know where he is. I — I’ll repeat what I said. I truly am not that concerned about him”
Could you IMAGINE if, instead of killing bin Laden, Obama had
said he just wasn’t that worried about him????
Americans are sick of the CONSTANT attacks on our President.
    The man WE elected, TWICE!
He is guilty of one thing & one thing only,
    President-ing while Black!
